Ride Don’t Hide Welcome Home Celebration & Community Ride

Thank you to all those who participated in the welcome home celebration!

Thank you to the hundreds who braved the wet weather on November 12, 2011 to welcome home Michael Schratter on the final stretch of the epic cycling journey. A police escort and over a hundred cyclists, including Mike Gillis, president and general manager of the Vancouver Canucks, Canucks alumni and several of Michael’s Gr. 5 students, rode in with Michael from Tsawwassen, past the Richmond Oval and Langara College, finishing at the Welcome Home Celebration at Rogers Arena, where they were warmly greeted by hundreds of friends, family and supporters.
